From School Project to Lifesaving Mission: Aquareach's Journey
Aquareach began as a school project but quickly transformed into a mission-driven initiative to address the water crisis in the Philippines, where millions lack access to clean drinking water. Motivated by this urgent need, Atty. Jay teamed up with Andrew, who has extensive experience in Mindanao. Together, we visited areas like Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, Bukidnon, Davao, and Samal Island, witnessing the struggles of women and girls who spend hours fetching expensive truck-delivered water, impacting their education and livelihoods.
These experiences pushed us to turn Aquareach into a real-world solution. Our mission is to provide clean, drinkable water to rural communities, starting in Mindanao, with plans to expand nationwide. Through innovative approaches and community empowerment, we aim to secure clean water as a basic human right for millions of Filipinos.
